The show
Çıtayı Yükseltenler — literally “those who raise the bar” — is a long-form conversation show I co-host with Hüseyin Oğuz. We launched it in 2024 and have shipped 89+ episodes so far. We sit down with the kind of people whose work has visibly lifted a standard in their field — founders, investors, athletes, builders — and walk through the actual decisions and disciplines behind it. No hot takes, no segment timers, no five-minute soundbites.
What I’m trying to do here
The Turkish startup ecosystem talks a lot about scaling, but most of it stays at the level of headlines — round closed, X employees, Y users. The real material — the decisions inside the room, the disciplines that compound, the trade-offs nobody puts on a slide — rarely makes it out. Çıtayı Yükseltenler is my attempt to pull back that curtain. We sit down with people who have actually built the thing, ask the questions you’d want to ask if you had two hours alone with them, and publish the answer for the next builder.
